Nellie E. Willkow, 87, went to be with her Lord Feb. 24, 2000. Born July 28, 1912 in Markleton, the daughter of the late Russell and Anna (Pyle) Younkin.

Also preceded in death by husband, Henry Willkow Jr., brother, Earl Younkin and an infant sister, Elizabeth. Survived by a daughter and son-in law, Beverly and Ronald Lake, and son, Harold Willkow, both of Somerset; grandson and wife Eric and Jill Schrock of Greensburg, and granddaughter, Kimberly Walmer of York. Member of the Calvary United Methodist Church.

A private family memorial service took place at Somerset County Memorial Park with Rev. Raymond Lyon officiating. Arrangements by the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
