This
picture (a tin type c.1860s or a bit earlier) was found in the
home of Bertha Jane (Elder) Sharrar. The picture and some letters
were rescued not long before the house was demolished. I've taken
the picture out of its frame and found no identifying marks.
Bertha Jane's parents were Robert Elder (1825-1883) and Mary
A. Davis Elder (1827-1905). Should anyone be able to identify
the woman in this picture, please email me with the link below.
