The historical info of ROBERT ELDER of FRANKLIN CO PA
includes assumed relationships
with PAXTANG and MAINE families,
which DNA analysis contradicts.
Reporting MAINE ELDER kit entries as of August 1, 2007.

any other entry for ELDER is recently related.
Comparing "MAINE ELDER" kits
to "FRANKLIN CO PA" (my brother) #10042
shows nearly "0" relatedness back 24 generations.

SENT 2 ELDER DNA kits -- TO ULSTER HERITAGE DNA chart:
Hi Barra,
Today I sent 2 matching ELDER kits (R1b1) for
your ULSTER HERITAGE DNA chart, #87786 and #23005.
Could they have a new name together in ANTRIM?
Maybe "ANTRIM TO MAINE"?
New ELDER kit #87786 has received 67 markers as a first order!
Ancestor listed as
"Alexander ELDER, b. 1796, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, Eng.
He matches a "MAINE ELDER" kit #23005 with 25/25.
I have ordered a 26-67 upgrade for "MAINE ELDER."
Reviewing the geography of the ANTRIM IRELAND
place names as given in the "MAINE ELDER" genealogy lists--
Two names that sound like ARDEMORE/ARDMORE are found in
ANTRIM.
"ARDAGHMORE" is close to the coast north of BELFAST, so would
be a logical place for immigrants from SCOTLAND, and to U.S, while
"ARDMORE" spelling seems to be near the east side of "LOUGH NEAGH",
another location with ELDER names.
