Hi everyone,

Dolph Elder had a sister Lillie, she is my great grandmother. She was born in 1893 in Tennessee and died in 1965 E.St.Louis, Il. Looking for anyone that is researching this line, maybe we can help each other and continue to go back and find them. I have been unable to locate them on the 1900, 1910 and 1920 census(Lillie anyway)

1920 A.D. Elden and Virginia and James Elden are listed. They are in Fletcher, Mississippi, Arkansas.
1930 Lillie is married to David Beaird and living in Mississippi Co Arkansas.. Any help is appreciated..

Michelle,
You are no longer the newest member of this forum. I replaced you...
I am interested in information about Archie Adolph "Dorph" Elder. In 1920 he and his family lived a few miles south of Blytheville, AR. He lists his occupation as "farmer." I am interested in knowing if he worked for or with Sternberg Cotton in Blytheville. I am also interested in any photo of Archie as a young man.

Hi Larry,
Im sorry to say I cannot answer your question with any certainity but Ill tell you what I know. On his WWI draft card he lists employment as being in New Rosa Ark and on his SS app he lists employment at Marquette Cement Mfg Co. I have had some trouble with this line and cannot even locate him in 1900 .He died in Alabama in 1974 . And I also wish I had pictures of him.. Sorry I cannot be more help but I will let you know if I find anything new.

Hi Michelle,

Thanks for the reply. New Rosa is just south of Blytheville. We're in the neighborhood. I will share anything new that I might learn.
