RE: SCOTLAND DNA chart
Y-DNA RESULTS
See:
http://www.ourfamilyorigins.com/scotland/dna.htm

Now Jason CLARY's page loads first to show all Scotland entries
in one chart.
For ELDER names on separate charts with Katherine's codes,
CLICK squares at the top of the page,
for "I" (lavender) - PAXTANG group - I1b2a1-Isles
and "R1b" (green) - COLLA UAIS Scots Founder

Katherine announces:

Subject:[ScotlandDNA] Updates in the Scotland DNA Project

The Y-DNA Results page has been changed - when clicking the link for
the page, visitors will be taken to a page that automatically loads
Jason Clary's haplotypes table so that anyone may instantly view
results when they are added/updated/joined to the project.

Y-DNA results are now sorted by haplogroup on separate pages. Another
change is I'm linking all kit numbers to their Y-Search page (this is
to cut down on room and scrolling time through the genealogical data).
I have not finished this task for R1b since its very tedious and time
consuming work to link well over 100 kit numbers. I have not even
started on the I haplogroup people yet, but will keep plugging away at
it.

I have a problem with not being able to print out 67-marker results on
a legal size piece of paper, so I called FTDNA yesterday and asked
them to inquire to their IT person about it. It's not just the
Scotland site, I cannot print out the 67 marker results in any of my
projects, nor was I able to print out the results from Andrew
Lancaster's Excel results table. If anyone has suggestions for a
solution, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Lastly, I've also added links to resources pertaining to the different
haplogroups in Scotland.

The mtDNA results are next to be updated, thank you for your patience!

Kindest regards,
Katherine

New entries on SCOTLAND DNA charts--Katherine fixed to show
SUTHERLAND and ROWE in ELDER group,
(matching in "FRANKLIN CO PA" group of ELDER DNA webpage).

Posted here in SCOTLAND DNA charts:
Y-DNA RESULTS
http://www.ourfamilyorigins.com/scotland/dna.htm

TO:"Katherine Hope Borges" <kvjjmmborges>
Checking ELDER updates
on the SCOTLAND DNA R1b chart.
Hope it's not too picky, but I'm paying attention...

SEE:
THE LAST 4 ELDER ENTRIES of R1b, with SUTHERLAND and ROWE--
closer than it looks!

ROWE #6095 [RF5ZB]
has joined our ELDER project,
and now is in the SCOTLAND DNA project,
matching our SUTHERLAND with 35 of 37 markers,
and the 4 nearby ELDER entries with 34 of 37.
(Still no documents to show why, but we're trying to find them)

JASON CLARY's chart for Scotland DNA R1b
has SUTHERLAND AND ROWE entered in closer order,
because SUTHERLAND AND ROWE match all the way
up to the marker for "YCAIIb" in the 37 marker section,
where
SUTHERLAND is 22
and ROWE is 23.

SO ORDER SHOULD BE:
ELDER #12898
ELDER #29820
SUTHERLAND #38776
ROWE #6095
ELDER #18545
ELDER #10042

The 3rd ELDER, #18545 has 460=14, so he's after ROWE.
The 4th ELDER, #10042, my brother,
is always last in that matching group,
because he has a rare 454=12 in the first 25.
All the others have 454=11.

I'm so hoping we will discover the importance
in those varying markers, to locate origins
in Scotland any time now.
