! Daniel served in War of 1812, under Capt. George Murrell, for 42 days & was paid $6.66 per month plus allowance of $.40 per day for his horse.- death date obtained from wife Rebecca's petition for pension. 5th Reg. South's [KY] Mounted - Detroit Area - 1813.
!Order of children uncertain. Daniel and Rebecca married in Stanford, KY. by Joseph Warner, Minister. The court house records show the marriage as Daniel McCune , but it is signed as Daniel McCormack. (copy in js file)
